One of the sweetest things that has happened over the past nine years of being a dollmaker has been when I have happened to create a doll that reminds someone of their loved one. I have received some really touching messages from customers who found a doll that reminded them of someone they loved that had passed away. I would love to create a pocket sized version of your favorite person.

Also, in the very beginning of Luna and Fig I offered custom family doll sets where I would create your doll families and I thought it would be really adorable to revisit this idea with my elfin pattern. You could have the dollhouse version of your family created!

📸📸📸The first photo shows my most recent elfin dolls with a variety of hair/skin/eye colors. The second photo is a bearded elfin doll for a male reference. The last photo is from the beginning of Luna and Fig nine years ago. This was a custom set I made for my mom of her four adult children (I’m second from the left). I don’t even make that pattern anymore and my skillset has improved dramatically with thousands of dolls created since, but you can still see individual styles and vibes were captured.

These dolls are intended to be a piece of art. She is meant for decoration or gentle play with an older child (or adult). This is neeot suitable for a child under five. This doll has tiny bits that may be a choking hazard. Certain features may include wires.

🌿Every doll begins with a blank piece of fabric and I sketch their faces freehand with embroidery thread. They develop in a really organic free way, almost as if they create themselves. These are completely one of a kind dolls. You will not see the same doll here again. They are charmingly imperfect, quirky, and totally unique. I want to make dolls that make you feel like playing.
